Burnout has little to do with how many hours you work. It stems from doing tedious tasks in systems that grant you no autonomy, toward goals you don’t really care about, with little or no sense of belonging.

I think a big problem in the world of health and performance is you get people who are truly world class at marketing and whose primary goal is growth and popularity completely overshadowing those who actually know what they are talking about.

I am always shocked at the number of bizarre things people do to "optimize" their health and longevity and yet they don't exercise regularly, sleep 7-9 hours, eat fruits and veggies, build intimate bonds and community, or ever relax. They obsess over the 0.1% but not the 99.9%.

Writing requirement docs are crucial for PMs to effectively communicate with engineers but they're also notoriously difficult to get right. I know this first hand as a dev having read dozens of PRDs over my career: a handful of decent ones, the vast majority of them a mess, and none i've seen that were exceptional 😩 But this was all before AI.. while AI can't 100% replace product managers in the PRD process (and it shouldn't), it can help a ton! So I was pretty excited when my friend & collaborator Alisa told me about ChatPRD. 👉 What is ChatPRD? ChatPRD is an AI tool built specifically to help product managers write PRDs. You can give it a simple idea and it'll draft up a full requirements doc for you using it's own template or one you already have. If you have an existing PRD, it can also help you improve on it. I got to demo it myself and the part I'm most excited about is how it can help you brainstorm going from an idea to a full-fledged feature/product with all the edge cases, success metrics, and user paths fully fleshed out and communicated clearly and succinctly... and in a lot less time than it typically would take. I'm still doing a deeper dive into the tool but so far, I'm impressed and LOVING the niche concept. Shout out to @clairevo for creating this awesome tool and @ahaman10 for demo-ing it for me! P.S. One of the tips I share when writing PRDs is to use visuals as much as possible! No one wants to read a 15-page PRD that's a wall of text. But ChatPRD currently doesn't support this feature, so would LOVE for this to be a feature ASAP Claire! 🤩 P.P.S. I've shared extensively my tips for writing proper PRDs that bridge the product vision <-> Technical implementation, see comments for a link to those tips.😉
