Here's an Iftar on Trafalgar Square.
And here’s Easter, Diwali, Vaisakhi and Chanukah.
London is, and will always be, a place for everyone. #UnityOverDivision

Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan@MayorofLondon
Community isn’t just where we live, it’s how we look after one another. Tonight, people of all faiths, races and backgrounds came together in the heart of our capital to break their fasts at Ramadan Tent Project’s Open Iftar. There’s always a place at the table in this city.

"They came to kill us"
Horrific POV footage of a brutal attack by settlers on unarmed Israeli activists - who were helping protect a Palestinian village
One woman, in her 70s, had her skull fractured
Settler violence - already high in the Occupied West Bank - is growing even worse, with 5 Palestinians killed in the past fortnight
Meanwhile the Israeli govt is introducing new measures making it easier for settlers to buy land in the West Bank - and for the state to demolish more Palestinian homes
And the army has introduced new restrictions on movement in the territory since the war with Iran began

Deputy Sir Philip Bailhache is trying to get the States Assembly to postpone the debate on suspending Ozouf as Ozouf is unwell and unable to be present for the debate. @DeputyTadier tells the assembly that Ozouf’s immigration offences were not victimless crimes.

@JonathanRenouf says any other States Member would have resigned.
However, the Constable of St Helier says Deputy Ozouf is not well and criticises the assembly for not being more understanding and wanting “their pound of flesh”.

Earlier I spoke to @BBCNews, breaking the news that Jersey had passed an Assisted Dying law.
32 politicians voted in favour, 16 voted against.
English

Speaking to @BBCNews ahead of Jersey politicians voting tomorrow on whether to introduce an Assisted Dying Law.
If the law is approved Jersey would become the second place in the British Isles to approve an Assisted Dying law.
