People will genuinely get mad at you for saying you should focus on canon when discussing the canon text. Headcanons are always fine, but when discussing the actual text they do not take precedence.

& their canon version are always more interesting than whatever fandoms make of them bc they have this need for women to be sanitized and perfect, which is ironically very sexist. men can be evil blorbos you want to see cry but women MUST be ideal to be liked. very dehumanizing.
