That movie’s not perfect but it’s generally accepted as a valid interpretation. But it’s not the same Jason from previous movies.

Sucks not all of his iconic looks made it but that could change later down the road as was the case for Ghostface. Jason behaves like Jason in both incarnations as they are fundamentally the same character.

According to Creators, who were given information by BHVR, this Jason is an original interpretation sort of like Ghost Face. He is not the same Jason as from the F13 movies, and his lore will probably be changed to reflect that.

if were really not getting a map or survivor for the anniversary, i get the impression that bhvr was hoping the novelty of Jason would be able to stand on it's own. and ten years into this game, the horror space (& dbd fanbase) has simply just shifted to where thats not happening

@littlemrstar @dvveet @DeadbyDaylight twd chapter didnt announce a map because they were testing a new tile to spawn on OTHER maps when a twd character was in the lobby. when they couldn't figure out how to get it to work on other maps, they made fallen refuge and slapped a yellow filter on it and called it a day.

Eric Pope said this wasn’t the last time we’d see the cabin. There’s no map or survivor for Jason, and the shack isn’t a part of Jason’s power. I genuinely do believe we’ll see the cabin again during the anniversary for an early future killed licensed reveal.
