Israeli Settlers grazed their flock near Asfay, where one of the residents was shepherding, and attempted to mix their herd with that of the Palestinian resident. Settlers frequently use this tactic to steal sheep by claiming they were part of their herd. The Palestinian managed to prevent the mixing and headed back to the village but was followed by the settlers, who then raided the village. Soldiers who arrived at the scene arrested two Palestinian residents.
The group of settlers then continued to the adjacent village Mughayyer al-Abid, raided sheep pens, and harassed residents in the presence of the army and police. Several residents were detained and handcuffed, only to be released later without being questioned. Before leaving, the settlers marked 15 sheep.
