@mkmore4 @VictoryOwai Same. Oh look a striker can cross with his left foot. Wow.
English

@VictoryOwai Never seen a player get hyped more for scoring no goals, flubbing multiple chances, and losing 5-1. He is the Make A Wish footballer.

Havertz fans, are y'all going to acknowledge Gyökeres' performance against the Netherlands, or is the excuse going to be, "It's only the Netherlands"?
Because from what I watched, this wasn't just about goals or stats. This was about a striker showing clear development in areas many people claimed were weaknesses in his game.
Gyökeres was excellent. His transition play was sharp, his link-up play looked far more refined than what we've seen in the past, and he combined brilliantly with Ayari, Elanga and Isak throughout the game. There were several moments where he dropped deep, connected attacks, carried the ball forward and helped Sweden progress up the pitch. That's exactly what many Arsenal fans have been demanding from a modern centre-forward.
One of the biggest criticisms of Gyökeres has always been that he's more of a runner than a footballer. Yet against a quality Dutch side, he showed composure, intelligence and technical quality in possession. The chemistry with his teammates was evident and Sweden looked far more dangerous whenever he was involved.
And let's not forget he came close to scoring an excellent free-kick as well. If that goes in, social media would probably be flooded with clips of it for the next week.
What's interesting is that whenever Havertz has a good game, we're told to appreciate the little things he does beyond scoring. The movement. The pressing. The link-up play. The transitions.
Well, Gyökeres did all of that against the Netherlands and did it at a very high level.
So let's keep the standards consistent.
If we're going to praise Havertz for contributing beyond goals, then Gyökeres deserves recognition when he delivers a complete centre-forward performance too. What I saw today was not just a goalscorer. I saw a striker actively improving parts of his game that many doubted he possessed.

@gooner_van Excellent. You got good eyes
I expect him to do more next season
English

@DariusUTD @FabrizioRomano He’s so smart for rejecting United. Why do you want to ruin his career?
English

@FabrizioRomano I'll never forgive Frenkie de Jong for not joining Manchester United.

@TracyBagwell50 @Axxyworks Yeah a stolen country run by terrorist aiding funds to another terrorist state in the Middle East. World’s greatest.
English

@afqnrm @Axxyworks It’s a Country not a state. No the terrorist are 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️any one that support it or Aline their beliefs to it! That thinks it a race. It’s just a mental deformity and they need help. In America.

@Elwinsam24 Nahhh you said he’s the best no8 in the world. Odegaard is not the best no8 however he is elite in his high pressing and out of possession for a no8.

Joao Neves after the PSG vs Arsenal game:
🗣️ We were the only team that wanted to play. Arsenal were more focused on slowing the game down. Today, I only saw one team.
If you read between the lines, he's clearly trying to discredit Arsenal efforts, despite PSG needing a penalty shootout to win the UCL.
And the funny thing is that nobody saw it as a bad comment. In fact, everyone was applauding his comment and even encouraging him for talking down on Arsenal.
A few weeks later, Joao Neves was interviewed about Ronaldo, he and said:
🗣️ We know what Cristiano has done for us, but right now he's just another player here to help. He's no different from the others.
Boom, everyone started questioning him over the comment.
How could he say that about Ronaldo, the greatest of all time? 😂
Funny how many of the same people who applauded his comments about Arsenal had a completely different reaction when Ronaldo was the subject.
So you think that if you encourage bad things today, they won't come back to bite you in the future?
That short boy no get respect at all.

@DrNTXNews Why the jab at Mumbai? Will let that slide as it shows the IQ of the writer…
Identity the nationality of those perps and then report. They may be Americans so be prepared to criticize the whole country.

@CalafioriAura @Mo_Arsenal9 @Danielfloyd1981 He’s injured cos he’s overplayed. A better back up than Madueke is not a bad idea.
English

@Mo_Arsenal9 @Danielfloyd1981 Bro, he has been injured. Do you really want to forget all he has done so far in his still young career, bcs he is currently injured?
Does everyone just rage bait now?
English

@Dave_Davidson22 @nudo0fficial @YaGunnerss Yes. Zubi ain’t him. Bouaddi is a good back up and eventually will overtake Zubi.
English

@YaGunnerss @nudo0fficial Honestly it’s kinda dumb when people compare him to skelly cos they have different profiles. One is box to box and one is a pivot. What’s even dumber is to say he’s a hype Guendouzi.
English

@YaGunnerss Few reasons why no one should listen to your opinion.
1. Bouaddi is a pivot mid.
2. Bouaddi is not a box to box like Skelly and Guendouzi.
3. He’s a lot better than Guendouzi.
4. Your basic ball knowledge is shit.
