As part of the YEA-R program to strengthen agripreneurship, 12,000 young people have been onboarded into agricultural youth groups, building entrepreneurial skills, strengthening resilience, and expanding income pathways.

25 women and girls peer champions from Karangazi and Katabagemu sectors completed a 3-day training on bodily autonomy, GBV policies and laws, and advocacy skills to engage duty bearers on women and girls’ rights and protection #EndGBV #GenderEquality #WomenEmpowerment #AFROARK

As we commemorate the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi, Afro Ark visited the Kigali Genocide Memorial at Gisozi to pay respect and lay flowers in honor of the victims.

Meet Ellena, a trader in Musanze District. She now sources vegetables from farming groups supported by the YEA-R Program and praises their French beans for being well sorted, slender, and high quality. YEA-R is enabling youth groups to build trusted markets. #YouthEmpowerment
