They told her that male children raised by Akure wives never amount to anything. They laughed at her decision and believed our story had already been written. But look at us now. Look at what God has done🥹🥹 I know my dad is smiling in heaven, proud of the woman he left us with and proud of the children she raised against every odd. I didn’t sleep on the eve of my call to bar. Immediately it was 4am, I had my bath, dressed up (you wear your collarette from home )and headed to the National stadium with my Mum. On getting there, buses were arriving. You have to follow the bus. You and your parent oh. You must hold your invite. When you get to the entrance, you’ll be checked thoroughly (you must put on your gown, not wig). Your ID card will be submitted and then you’ll be given the year book and RPC. You go in, find your number and sit. Procession starts and speech is read, then you are asked to put on your wig. Your certificates will be shared row by row. In addition, there’s usually a severe gridlock on call day.
