New steam ui is really promising and overall good for the market imo. Just 2 months ago valve doubled down on trading by out right "refusing to remove it", considering transferability a right. Steam is also not allowed to raise the cap above $2000 or add cash our for legal reasons. Yet somehow we still got people dooming thinking its the end of skins 🙃

@mastnapolivka of course nothing is impossible but i very strongly believe trading is here to stay

imagine a $7.82B market nobody scans it automatically this guy explained the whole thing in 6 minutes then i went and opened all 5 marketplaces and started clicking around CS2 skins. same item on 5 platforms with fees from 2% to 15% spreads of 10-13% have been open FOR YEARS manual works on one skin at a time. the market moves on 47,823 listings someone took the same logic and made it async across all 5 marketplaces > Skinport returns 47,823 items in one request > Steam needs 200 separate calls with 3-sec rate limits > stores price history, calculates real profit on every route in the time you spent on the video this bot would've finished 90 full scans 6 minutes to understand it. one evening to automate it
