ZURICH CLASSIC Field by Priority Order. Composition of Zurich team event field is complicated, so I've included a listing of the field by standard Priority Order (left), and the PGA Tour's release by Team Pairings and order (right). Field is set at 148 players. It originally was set at 144, but is expanded by 2 teams due to the KOEPKA rule. Koepka, paired with Shane Lowry, needs a strong week to qualify for the next 2 Signature events (Miami & Truist). Alternates as of now are: Will McGirt, Dylan Frittelli, Jeff Overton, Sean O'Hair, Sung Kang, David Hearn and Ricky Barnes. This is actually a pretty decent field considering it's horrible position on the schedule between Signature Events. Zurich's FedEx points are fixed at 400 for each player of the winning team. But as a team event this one is NOT OWGR RATED. The below are based on initial field release, so expect some changes.

The fields are selected via individual priority order... IE: The highest priority player entered invites his partner... then the next highest priority player invites his... and so on... It's not a draft, its more players forming teams out of friendship, compatibility, etc... Cam Davis asked Geoff Ogilvy... Available players were slim pickings when it got to down to Hahn picking Stanley for team #73 of 74.

@JETurp @CBB_Central Literally UConn doesnt hang banners for final fours. On the wall it says 7(now 8) final fours but the only banners hanging are the 6 titles

@CBB_Central I get the sentiment, but literally every program in the country hangs Final Four banners. The blue bloods just set them to the side, less prominently displayed than the championship banners.

@WillieBeakman I hear ya. Demary was the only postive defender on the team and he can't move since the ankle injury. They were still a top 10 defense because of the doubling and switching. Boozer is just too good of a passer to do it againdt

Forget the accolades and block numbers, Kyle Evans was the rim protector for the No. 1 rim defense in the country by FAR in UC Irvine. Better than Michigan, Duke, etc. Gap between UCI and second was gap between second and 34th.
