The first Metroid Prime had tunes straight out of Super Metroid. Echoes followed through with new scores to make it stand out on its own. Corruption is just about the same, with tunes from MP1 and maybe Hunters(?). Now, I'm curious to listen to the music on Federation Force.

I need to listen to the music from the Metroid Prime trilogy again. The music in the new one has a different mood. I'm still in the beginning, but I'm just noticing that the familiar tunes aren't there. It's understandable in a way since it's the start of a new saga.

I guess I do have time to go through my backlog of games 😅 I'll still spend time with Blender and Unity. I don't have any plans to make any indie games or scenes in Unity, at least not right away. I just want to try something different after working in Maya and Unreal for years

I like that there's an Industry Compatible keymap option in #Blender3D. Some of the keys are almost the same as Maya's. The UV editing tools are docked in the UV editor. I'm tempted to either make shortcut keys for them or just stick with how it works in the drop-down menu.

I finally signed up to Bluesky. I'll eventually follow gamedevs and artists here who also use Bluesky. bsky.app/profile/agarce… I probably won't post as much art as before. I might get into more level design. I'm not sure yet. For now, I'm just learning Blender's modeling tools.
