Actually, AI/Robotics will mean everyone can have a penthouse if they want. The output of goods & services will be several orders of magnitude higher than today’s economy. Read the Iain Banks Culture books for the best imagining of how it will be. That said, what is the future you want? Amazing abundance seems the best to me.

Universal HIGH INCOME via checks issued by the Federal government is the best way to deal with unemployment caused by AI. AI/robotics will produce goods & services far in excess of the increase in the money supply, so there will not be inflation.

@akafaceUS All these boomers and millennials don’t understand inflation and it shows. When you charged less than $100, you could also get a bag of chips for 25c-$2. A ticket at the movie theatre was probably $7-9 and even cheaper for the early show.

I personally lasted a day at Amazon warehouse. I just couldn’t wrap my mind around the amount of work required to move the packages around from a to b then c. As such, I also decline to order from Amazon anymore. Hats off to anyone who works warehouse or drives the packages around.

🚨 AMAZON DRIVER EXPOSES 300 STOPS IN ONE SHIFT — THEN SHOWS HER TRUCK AND PEOPLE CAN’T BELIEVE THIS IS WHAT’S EXPECTED An Amazon driver shows her route on her phone… then turns the camera to her truck and it’s overflowing. • 300 stops • 524 packages • 421 locations • Every shelf stuffed • Boxes stacked to the roof • Barely any space to even move Her reaction says everything: “Are y’all crazy?” This isn’t peak season. This isn’t a one-off. This is what a “normal” route looks like. Some say it’s just part of the job. Others are asking how anyone is supposed to finish this in a single shift. Is this efficiency… or is this straight up burnout waiting to happen?

@bridgemindai Thanks for sharing I’m finding that local models are good for q&a, simple tasks, nothing more than that. If you need agents and dev you’re def going to pay for it or you’re going to do without it

Spent the last few days vibe coding on my NVIDIA DGX Spark. Here's what I learned. Qwen 3.5 122B took one minute and nine seconds to respond "Hi how are you doing". Unusable for vibe coding. Gemma 4 was fast but built a dot instead of a first person shooter game. GPT-OSS 120B was the sweet spot. Fast, capable, and actually produced working HTML. Open source models running locally are not replacing Claude Opus 4.6 or Codex with GPT 5.4. Not even close. But they're getting better every month. The new DGX Spark Bench is live on bridgebench.ai. Real-world benchmarks for local models on local hardware. This is just the start. Full video below.
BridgeMind@bridgemindai

Claude Code rate limited me so hard I bought a $5,000 NVIDIA DGX Spark. Arriving tomorrow. A personal AI supercomputer. Anthropic cut off OpenClaw users. Slashed Claude Opus 4.6 rate limits. Told $200/month Max plan customers to use less. Then gave us a credit as an apology. This is what happens when AI companies have too much power over your workflow. One update and your entire stack breaks. Local models are the only infrastructure no one can throttle. No rate limits. No 529 errors. No surprise policy changes. Tomorrow I'm testing the DGX Spark live on stream. Running local models through real vibe coding workflows. The goal is simple. Never depend on a single provider again.
