@openshipio It is a shame that a truly open protocol being gated by big bills to use it.

You don't even want to know what sending 80,000 emails would cost you in 1 week. Postmark: $100+ SendGrid: $90+ Resend: $80+ Mailgun: $80+ OpenShip: $0. Deploy it on your 5$ VPS. Unlimited domains. Unlimited inboxes. No per-email bill. No vendor lock-in. And yes - it works with one-click setup. No deep infrastructure work. Just add a few DNS records, and you're ready to go.

‼️ BREAKING: xAI's Grok Build CLI was uploading entire Git repositories to a Google Cloud bucket, private codebases and unredacted secrets included. The uploads quietly stopped via a hidden server-side flag, and xAI still has not said a word about scope, retention, or deletion. The scale is staggering. On a 12 GB test repo, 5.1 GB flew out the door to xAI's grok-code-session-traces bucket while the actual coding task needed just 192 KB. The tool grabbed whatever repository it ran in, not the files it needed. The fix arrived as a hidden flag, disable_codebase_upload: true, a day after a researcher's wire-level analysis. The "Improve the model" opt-out never stopped the uploads. Still no advisory, no scope, no word on whether already-uploaded code gets deleted. For anyone pointing AI coding agents at proprietary code, what crosses the wire matters more than what the settings page says.

I am one of those who were laid off by @Certora However I'll forever be grateful for the chance the company and @BowTiedDravee gave me a year and a half ago They trusted my skills and allowed me to proudly stand among the best (even the legends!) of web3 security: the ones I was looking up to when I got started It was an incredible journey filled with countless encounters behind our screens and in real life too (iykyk) Along the way I learnt how to behave with clients, to collaborate efficently with my peers, to communicate better, to be confident in my takes, to be faster and sharper: I learnt that I belong here! I was on cloud nine, living the dream! For my last weeks in the company, I'll live up to these lessons before drifting away "Part of the journey is the end" - but fortunately, another journey is right ahead! --- I see this separation as an opportunity! It's an opportunity to finally start or finish the side-projects I've been craving to work on but hardly could These are the projects that matter the most for me: the ones that make me break a smile and brighten my eyes when I think about them That also means I'll be making memes again, sharing my breakthroughs, giving back to the community, saving projects and so many exciting things! The future is bright my friends! I can't wait to be living this new adventure!

@yacineMTB I would pick GrapgQL for mobile apps for 2 reasons 1. Cache automagically handled for me by Apollo 2. Same as reason 1

Graphql is genuinely the most retarded idea ever. There used to be an entire career around graphql Honestly the best part about automating programmers is that I don't have to hire people, which means that I don't have to tolerate bad engineering decisions

At first glance, this might look impressive. But would this skills section actually help the candidate get shortlisted? Spot the mistakes and drop your answers in the replies. We will post the breakdown after.

6 months ago, I decided to stop our most successful startup project to date. We had built the first ever zero-interest borrowing offered in decentralized finance, and it was taking off because the returns were huge. The concept of an *actually* 0% interest loan was totally unheard of. Even for non-Muslims. But there was a problem. The platform we'd built it on was really hard to use. You needed a "wallet" and "private key" which you then took to a janky-looking blockchain "exchange" to get the funds which you could then borrow against. It was great to help the few Muslims who were able to navigate this to make huge returns, but our goal was always bigger. We wanted to use zero-interest digital assets to help the Ummah at large, not just a few financially savvy Muslims. So we decided to pause our purely blockchain-facing operations and keep it at maintenance while we build a tool so simple that even a grandma could deposit money and profit share in these huge returns. 6 months later, we've finally built out Goldsand, and our dream of simplifying high zero-interest returns for the Ummah in just a few clicks is being realized.

@thesubmitter_ How is this NOT targeting financial savvy people? I think this is still very blockchain centric and the fact that I need to have crypto as collateral throw me away.
