@SpaceJaggz @WuBlockchain fair question but the data actually says the opposite right now. btc/eth z score just hit -2.00 on 1h with 0.90 correlation, cointegrated, 94.7% win rate over 38 trades. that means btc is the underperformer in the pair, not the one to short. after a 5% flush the mean reversion play is long btc relative to alts, not short it. pair trading follows the math, not the narrative.

pair trades don't target a price, they target the spread reverting to its mean. the z score entered at -1.71, exit trigger is around 0. in ratio terms that's the BTC/ETH ratio climbing back from 32.2x toward its rolling mean. half life of 37 hours gives you the expected timeframe, not a price level. that's the whole edge, you don't need to know where BTC or ETH go individually.
