Has to be the coolest demo I've made 👀 I built a tool that gives every pull request its own live environment automatically for the @PayWithLocus Hackathon. Open a PR → live URL appears. Merge it → gone. Zero commands. Zero config. Watch the demo. 🧵

Here is my submission paywithodyssey.xyz Odyssey is an AI agent marketplace where the agent pays for its own work using real USDC. When you hire an agent, it gets funded with a crypto wallet (my wallet), buys its own tools like search engines and AI models, does the research, and returns the results with a full receipt of everything it spent. I built it because business research is expensive and slow. With odyssey you get competitor analysis, lead generation, or market research in minutes for as little as $0.05. Every job also creates prediction markets from the findings. You can bet YES or NO with real USDC on what the agent discovered. It is powered by @PayWithLocus, which gives each agent a smart wallet on base and lets it spend autonomously without a human approving every transaction.

@mchulet These posts always seem to be written by people who know how to code. It def is easier and more efficient if you do but still doable if you do not.

Hot take: Vibe coding only works well if you already know how to code.

A bit bittersweet to be announcing AgentMail's pivot today. The last idea was cool, but this new one just has way more depth to it.

@trikcode Its not as though every non vibe coded project runs perfectly, or that bugs get fixed quickly, or are understood easily. Is there any actual data that supports what you are saying?

Vibe coding creates a dangerous illusion: You think you built it. You think you understand it. You push to production. Your users find the bugs you never could. Because you can't debug what you didn't write.

@playatquestor @trikcode Exact same scenario...except i spent even more. Got a garbage product. Built my own vibe coded product thatnis awesome. Spent about $400 on the build and a fraction of the time.

In 2019 I hired a developer out from brooklyn, NY to create an app for me. I worked with them till October 2023. They delivered and unfinished buggy product. Thankfully I had the source code. I took that source code, gave it to claude and it fix every line code and gave me the final product I invested $40k+ into.

The vibe coding crash is coming. Thousands of apps built by people who can't explain a single line of their own codebase.

Lots of companies are now building primitives for an economy where AI agents are the primary users instead of humans. They're betting on an economy of AI coworkers. 1. AgentMail (@agentmail): so agents can have email accounts 2. AgentPhone (@tryagentphone): so agents can have phone numbers 3. Kapso (@andresmatte): so agents can have WhatsApp phone numbers 4. Daytona (@daytonaio) / E2B (@e2b): so agents can have their own computers 5. Browserbase (@browserbase) / Browser Use (@browser_use) / Hyperbrowser (@hyperbrowser): so agents can use web browsers 6. Firecrawl (@firecrawl): so agents can crawl the web without a browser 7. Mem0 (@mem0ai): so agents can remember things 8. Kite (@GoKiteAI) / Sponge (@PayspongeLabs) : so agents can pay for things. 9. Composio (@composio): so agents can use your SaaS tools 10. Orthogonal (@orthogonal_sh) so agents can access APIs easily 11. ElevenLabs (@ElevenLabs) / Vapi (@Vapi_AI) so agents can have a voice 12. Sixtyfour (@sixtyfourai) so agents can search for people and companies. 13. Exa (@ExaAILabs): so agents can search the web (Google doesn’t work for agents) If you stitch all of these together, you get a digital coworker that looks more human than AI.

@coledermo The right approach imo. Financial.Departments within many orgs are the least technical part of the org. They are not going to be inclined to change unless it is going to provide financial benefit, and its easy to implement. Most orgs dont have the resources to make it easy.

Agree with this sentiment and also what we've been finding. If your org is interested in agentic payments and wants to talk to a team who've been doing this since it all started and are experts with existing infra we can use to solve your use-case, DM me or email me at cole@paywithlocus.com. We're here to help

this is exactly why we decided to adopt a "Palantir" model for sales seeing more and more YC companies doing the same: there is a massive shift right now toward wanting to build products in-house but despite all the hype around replacing SaaS, there are still some blockers companies have: they: 1) don't know where to start or what "it" should look like 2) don't know how they should go about building 3) lack the resources to build / maintain it taking all that into account, we've decided to adopt a Palantir model for sales and will be testing: what if we still sell our data/APIs, but also take care of the building end-to-end? the results so far of some of the products that came out of it: - fully automated TAM building and email sequence platform for a Big 4 company - automated "warmest path" for intros to founders for a private equity fund and others that are basically a manifestation of the question: "what's your dream state for X?" (X being sales, marketing, investing, etc.) It's a lot to promise, but we're excited about the early potential. if you are interested in building your dream state for sales, recruiting, or investing - drop a note and we'll reach out!

We're working on a new type of product for agentic usage. Pay-per-use fullstack deployment via API endpoints so agents can purchase credits (or humans) and deploy full frontend, backends, redis, and DBs all without a human doing anything. I know plenty of agent companies would find this valuable - especially those deploying agents or vibe coding. We're launching the pilot with our first few customers this week and looking for more. DM me or email me at cole@paywithlocus.com if you're interested - I'll personally come to your office or hop on a call and get you fully setup!
