So Trump sued the IRS (i.e. American taxpayers for $10bn) and then settled by accepting a $1,776,000,000 payout from the taxpayers to people he thinks have been harmed by democrats.... i.e. whoever he wants to give the money to, without any Congress oversight.

If Pizza Hut can return, then we can resurrect Blockbuster. And we should. While Netflix made things more “convenient” we lost something irreplaceable: The ritual of going to a place with your family or friends to choose a story together. That experience was special.

Golf fans don’t have to put up with that nonsense during The Masters or the British Open. The PGA Tour needs to have a condition of “no boorish behavior” for a ticket. Shouting “get in the hole” or “mashed potato” just after impact is “boorish” and you are ejected from the property.
Let’s stop pretending this can’t be fixed. It would make the experience of playing, attending, and watching on TV better. Set standards of decorum and enforce them. It’s that simple.

Does anyone enjoy hearing fans scream random stuff after shots in golf? I would like to see it eliminated by ejecting the fans who scream. Golf is the only sport you can peacefully have on all day in the background, but that peace is constantly interrupted for drunken shoutouts

Hitting a ball out of a divot… what should we do?
In this case:
- Ball back in the stance to steepen AOA
- More out to in path to steepen AOA
You need to try and hit ball first at all costs. Big debate on whether or not we should get relief from a divot
I don’t really mind, I understand both arguments… but until something changes, just learn how to do it 🙂

@b9bozzi just played there last friday morning and finished in 4. had a great time - green reading was tricky tho for sure but now that i know they generally pull toward water, i want another chance at it.

#NUKE Torrey Pines to hell.
Every time I play this course, it’s minimum a 5 hour round and somehow always get stuck behind people who can barely golf and insist on hitting every shot and putting out. This is also while they’re in carts with no restrictions.
There’s never a marshal to enforce pace of play. They don’t want to scare away tourists, so they don’t discipline anyone who’s being inconsiderate of other golfers.
Greens are unreadable and wildly inconsistent, not to mention the grass they use everywhere just sucks.
Oh, you want a hot dog at the turn? Maybe a Gatorade too? That’ll be $25, and your frank will be undercooked with the cheapest bun possible.
The views are amazing. It’s a beautiful piece of property. But that’s where the positives end. Torrey is just not good.
