@jennifercwolf @CreativCulinary I can’t imagine many would. As a parent involved at school knowing how stretched teachers are to begin with, this responsibility should not be expected & I find it very telling when it is suggested.

I have seen tweet after tweet suggesting that we arm teachers as a way to protect kids in school. If trained cops are afraid of going in after a perpetrator, tell me again what you expect of teachers? This would simply be a fast track to teacher resignations.

The tragedy of this past week & of every one of these horrific events isn't just the number of people that died or even all of their family. What about the little girl who smeared the blood of her dead friend on her to pretend that she was dead? I weep for the survivors too.
