Boston Stepping Down as Colonels Coach After 9 seasons as Henderson County’s head coach, Josh Boston met with his team earlier today to notify them of his decision. Boston went 56-48 in his time on the sidelines for the Colonels. Boston shared the message below.

@CoachVass Sniffer back alignment was tipping plays. If the kid lined up outside the TE they were running stretch or throwing the ball. If he lined inside the TE they were running counter GH. Same kid was also tipping off the play in their muddle/swinging gate 2 pt stuff

What is the craziest tip/tell you have found on tape when scouting an opponent? Wiping hands on towels, fiddling with mouth pieces, coach movements, etc. I want to hear your stories!

@CoachTManes I’m lucky that I have guys that I trust to Run 7 on 7 while I run pass rush stuff with my guys. I still watch the film and provide feedback but I still get the work in with my guys like I did before I started coordinating.

@425DC1 Spring install is all based off the front call. Calls that are intended to be run to the strong side begin with an S, calls that are intended to be run weak begin with a W. Pressure paths have similar names, example: Navy/Ship/Wave

Question for the DCs out there, how are you communicating your pressures from the play caller to the kids. Similar pressures have similar names? Do pressures change based on formation, or do you have specific pressure for a specific formation? #GATA
