@molly0xFFF I often think a lot of this is a very insular discourse, and what people are often saying is "I miss when the Web was a weird, in the know thing"
When parents (of millenials) and non technical people became much more present mostly thanks to Facebook things began to change.

@whitep4nth3r Bose QC35s (think they're 45s now) are the only pads that don't get sore with my big glasses after a while.

I had a great day at @ukmcg #MuseTech23 on Friday.
It made me hopeful about how we could have a more mindful and thoughtful internet without a crazed need to put everything online all of the time.
I've written about it in the @cog_design journal here: cogdesign.com/journal/a-more…
English

Fascinating ideas in this talk from @ukglo thinking long term with data and how we share and maintain information, software and tools without relying on 4 big companies. #MuseTech23

In the past 6 moths, we've launched sites for @lsqtheatre @graeae @rxtheatre @Biennial @roalddahlmuseum @sohotheatre.
Imagine how proud you would be to have project-managed those.
Do just that as our new 'Website Delivery Manager'.

Our July Cog Night was the excellent A Playlist for the Revolution @bushtheatre
@agw62 wrote our review / @hi_timalexander did this charming illustration.
Both featured in our monthly Cultural Calendar.

This was a fascinating session... it shifted my perceptions in a good way.

I recently did an internal Breakfast Briefing at Cog about ChatGPT, Large Language Models, and image generation AI. I've now written it up for our website. Thinking about how we and our clients might use this new technology 🤓 cogdesign.com/journal/should…

@RobinComms Just so eager to please! I've also found myself in a few loops where it's got things wrong but just keeps tweaking the wrong answer.
English

@agw62 Agreed... What is surprising me is the way Bard outright lies... So in this answer, Bard first confirmed it can access the data linked (it can't), and then made up seating areas in a theatre that don't exist

English

@RobinComms I've found chat gpt 3.5 or 4 more useful for writing complex queries for me than actually giving it a lot of data.
Haven't tried it with Bard yet though.

@magicroundabout Very cool! I've found it good for remembering obscure syntax and the like. But for now at least you still need the big conceptual understanding.
English

@josephmbates in terms of artform specific the data just says "music" I haven't dug into classical or not but all artforms have got a share of the increase overall.

English

@josephmbates Hey Joe, I had a play trying to get an overview: datastudio.google.com/reporting/1d47… in terms of your q - compared to 2022 (final year of the previous round) - more on average and more overall but lower median as there are more orgs and more small new orgs. Data still being worked on

English

@RobinComms ah snap was just doing something similar with an old sheet I had - datastudio.google.com/reporting/1d47… in the spirit of sharing
English

In case it's helpful - my #NPO data comparison... Who appears at first to be new entrants, or to have exited the portfolio. All to be treated with caution. docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d…
