What's still open: → Agent KYC and verification → Fraud patterns for non-human actors → Dispute management without human counterparties → Regulatory frameworks that weren't written for this Agentic commerce isn't starting from zero. It's extending what works.

Most implementations assume you need new rails (stablecoins) and greenfield infra. You don't. The APIs handling tokenization, multi-currency settlement, and compliance for human commerce scale to autonomous transactions immediately.

You don't need to rebuild payments infrastructure for agentic commerce. Existing APIs work fine. 11 AI agents. 3,713 autonomous payments. All on HitPay's production merchant APIs — same stack serving 20k+ businesses.
