@ahanlon Can you imagine explaining that to a developer who just wants to build an deploy an AI-powered app at scale? I think I'm gonna lose them at "two tower" architectures! The "why is a vector database even useful" is the core part that's missing.

I've heard a *lot* of people take a stab at explaining how a vector database works in simple terms. I'd love to hear how others explain them at the "101" level.
