@umair12103559 Since Walee has won the media rights for two consecutive cycles (live streaming last year and tv an live stream for now next four years) I dont think such a qualification exists

@ahsannagi Is there a need of a sports channel to bid for the rights? Or any news or entertainment channel can also bid? If its compulsory to have a news channel to bid, then it limits the choices

Three of them were Walee’s competitors in the media rights bid and now Walee will be subletting them the tv broadcast and live-streaming rights for the next few months.

@umair12103559 It is NOT a problem. It is just funny that the parties who lost the bid have become sub-licensee, which btw happens every time. Also, Walee doesn't have a TV channel or live-streaming platform so they had to sub-license the rights

@ahsannagi That's the problem of Pakistan Broadcasters. There's no competition. Its all the same whoever wins the rights.

The PCB has updated #NationalT20Cup squads on its website. The Lahore Whites squad now includes Babar Azam and Naseem Shah. Mohammad Rizwan has been removed from Peshawar, who will now be led by all-rounder Iftikhar Ahmed.
