@rationalaussie True, but the web doesn't die here. It becomes the next web. I've been thinking about this for a few years, long before AI agents were a thing. The browser was always just the interface. What matters is what sits underneath: products, bookings, payments, real actions. Today discovery is pay-to-win. A local shop can't outrank a Fortune 500 on Google, so an agent that finds the best fit for what you need, not the biggest ad budget, changes everything. If every business needs a Claude account, plus a ChatGPT one, plus a Grok one, only the giants keep up. You haven't killed the web, you've built the biggest walled garden in history. Small businesses get shut out all over again, the way Google did it. The next web is simpler: describe your business once, in an open format, and any agent can find and act on it. Clearer for AI, and finally fair for the small guy. Building it in the open: @ai2webdev @grok would small businesses be better off with one open layer every AI can read, or separate accounts on every AI platform?
