What people hating this fail to understand is Pumpfun literally could have been 5x bigger rn if they were investing the $200m in growth for the trenches
And that would’ve led to a bigger airdrop too
Instead, they were shoving $ in for buybacks and mfs didn’t buy the token regardless. If anything it was just exit liq for VC’s that were down bad on the presale.

today is a turning point for $PUMP and pump fun
I want to give more context on the bigger picture and where we're actually going.
over the past ~9 months, 100% of revenue went into buybacks. basically no other platform in crypto has done that at this scale.
however, we received ongoing feedback specifically on the feeling of a lack of trust - in the certainty of buybacks, in what would happen to the bought-back tokens, even in whether the business itself would be here in a year.
today, we’re changing that.
it started with burning ~$370M worth of $PUMP purchases. ~36% of the circulating supply removed from circulation, forever.
but that isn’t enough. we’ve also allocated 50% of our next year of revenue to programmatic buybacks & burns. no more uncertainty for those who believe in us & those we’re proud to call our community.
but why not 100%? the short answer is the business simply needs the other 50% to grow.
a large treasury gives us the flexibility to make big bets over the next 5-10 years, and 50% of ongoing revenue enables us to build better products, infrastructure & reinvest into the ecosystem. I am extremely confident that 50% of the business we're building toward will dwarf 100% of the business we have today.

trying to respect and combine rare pepes, tcg and memecoins
around ~ 4,000 basic cards and 500-900 custom hand-made holos + 100 or so IR's (illustration rare)
we are also adding a 'pfp crop machine' on our site that crops out the original art from our card templates
mint date is still tba; will be a full free mint so nft doesn't act as a liquidity suck for coin
purely collectibles, kind of like a love letter to memecoin people in general
this is series 1 drop, if this is a massive hit - I'm very eager to make more of these
we currently have ~ 30-50 artists (not sure about the exact number tbh) from different communities working on the card art
some did 1 piece, some did 5 pieces, some did 30 pieces
not 100% sure about whitelist yet, obviously a lot of unc holders but also artists will get a whitelist
kinda fun how we got people from every single big coin doing some art, kind of uniting as one entity to create something that could be a complete farce
but I like these, I think they look super cool

today is chill house birthday, one full year of absolute bullshit, jokes, videos, and tweets borderline deplorable. chill house was the first project that really believed in my content, and honestly, meeting him probably ruined my life.
because of chill house, i fell back in love with memecoins, ( im ex shiba inu btw) fell in love with solana and pumpfun too. if i never met him, i’d probably be out here sellin videos to some dumb italian company right now.
