Watching End of Eva in theaters and during that horrific mass production Eva scene in the middle of the movie the fat chud sitting next to me pulls out his phone between shoveling popcorn down his throat and takes five pictures with the flash on in the dark silent theatre

You don’t need to know every detail of how the overarching plot played out or how the fictional universe works to understand and follow along. I just watched Akira and the fifth review or something on Letterboxd was just that comment. It really wasn’t that complicated man.

One of my biggest pet peeves is when people watch a movie/show that leaves things even slightly up to interpretation/doesn’t spell out every detail and say, “I had no idea what was going on the whole time but I enjoyed it anyway lol.” Like I lowkey think you’re cattle

I think the Sonic franchise is pretty on par with Kirby but Sonic fans are so embarrassing that they’re unintentionally giving Kirby fans free layups. Sonic games have great aesthetics and often brilliant level design but I keep seeing people post cutscenes like what’re we doing
