Slepe moor - high flying Goshawks displaying in between the downpours, causing mayhem amongst the water fowl. Now we just need a fine sunny day 🙄 for the show to really start. @DorsetBirdClub

Studland - GN Divers still near the ferry including this one which took to the air. A mixed flock of Mediterranean and Little gulls were feeding just off shore in the surf line. @harbourbirds @DorsetBirdClub

Shell bay - a gathering of Great Northern divers by the chain ferry. Hints of summer plumage on a couple of them. @DorsetBirdClub @harbourbirds @DorsetWildlife

Studland beach - a Goose barnacle covered log has washed ashore, well worth a close look. @DorsetWildlife

Sandbanks - fourteen Purple Sandpipers scattered along the groynes. A record (for me). @DorsetBirdClub

Wild Woodbury - a family of Spotted Flycatchers were flitting on and off the fence by the watercress beds. Disturbed briefly by a Merlin streaking down the hill and low over the watercress beds. @DorsetBirdClub @DorsetWildlife

Middlebere - a Kingfisher was the star of the show. Other birds were two Marsh Harriers, four Hobbies (two juv), Great Egret and an adult osprey. @DorsetBirdClub
