This week at the Creation Museum @CreationMuseum, we hosted our annual blood drive in partnership with Hoxworth Blood Center!
Thanks to everyone who came out to donate—your generosity helps save lives. As a small thank-you, each donor received a complimentary ticket to the Creation Museum.
We’re especially grateful for our amazing staff members who rolled up their sleeves to give as well.

Some people hurt more than others physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually in this fallen world. Does that necessarily mean their suffering is a direct result of a specific sin? Of course not!
In Luke 13, Jesus spoke about 18 people who were killed when a tower fell on them. “Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them: do you think that they were worse offenders than all the others who lived in Jerusalem? No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish” (Luke 13:4–5).
Those 18 weren’t killed because they were worse sinners; it was their time to die. Jesus uses this to remind us that we are all under the judgment of death because of sin, and so all will face death. This is a stark reminder to make sure we have done what Jesus said: “Repent.”
In other words, that was their time to die, so make sure you have received the free gift of salvation so you know with certainty that when you die, you will go to be present with the Lord for eternity.
“But these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name” (John 20:31).

When children suffer, people often ask, “Why is someone so innocent suffering so badly?”
Only God’s Word can give us answers about suffering—and offer comfort.
When we allow God’s Word to inform our thoughts, we know children—in fact, all people—suffer to one degree or another while living on this earth because humanity is under the curse of sin (Romans 5:12). And no one is innocent, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).
Because we in Adam committed high treason against the God of creation (when Adam took the fruit and disobeyed God’s command), we deserve nothing. We don’t even deserve to exist. But God, in his mercy, provided a way for us to be redeemed, to be brought back to a right relationship with God.
That’s why God’s Word emphasizes that all humans face the judgment of death. “It is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment” (Hebrews 9:27).
It’s also important to understand that the whole creation suffers because of our sin in Adam. “For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until now” (Romans 8:22).
By placing upon us the judgment of death, God then provided the way for his Son to become a man (the God-man) and pay the penalty for our sin by dying on the cross. He rose from the dead, conquering death, and provides a free gift of salvation for those who will receive it.

The Bible uses strong language to describe any form of compromise with worldly thinking. And it doesn’t just apply to the ancient Israelites.
Hosea 4:12 says, “My people inquire of a piece of wood, and their walking [wooden] staff gives them oracles. For a spirit of whoredom has led them astray, and they have left their God to play the whore.”
Hosea used strong language against his fellow Israelites, calling them harlots because they had violated their vows to remain faithful to the one true God by adopting the false gods of the pagan nations into their own system of worship. In essence, they compromised God’s Word.
Is it possible that Christians today, and particularly Christian leaders—in their zeal to make Christianity more enticing—are actually “playing the harlot” too? Here is what I mean.
“And there is nothing new under the sun” (Ecclesiastes 1:9).
You see, ever since Adam sinned, man’s sin-cursed nature hasn’t changed. Certainly, those who are born again, as the Bible defines this, know that their sins are forgiven and that they will spend eternity with the Lord. Nonetheless, such Christians still have to deal with their sin nature daily while in these sin-cursed bodies.
Even the great Apostle Paul had this battle. “For I know that nothing good dwells in me, that is, in my flesh. For I have the desire to do what is right, but not the ability to carry it out. For I do not do the good that I want, but the evil I do not want is what I keep on doing” (Romans 7:18–19).
The same situation as in ancient Israel, albeit portrayed in a different way and using different terminology, is happening today. I suggest much of the church today is really no different when we consider this sin of harlotry.
Sadly, many Christians, including many Christian leaders (pastors, seminary and Bible college professors, Christian college professors, and so on), have adopted evolutionary geology, biology, astronomy, and anthropology, along with belief in millions of years, and they have mixed such beliefs with God’s Word. Because such beliefs are founded on an antibiblical, anti-God worldview, I do humbly submit that such is harlotry no different than that of the Israelites.
So I challenge those who do compromise God’s Word in Genesis by adding man’s ideas to contemplate these things. And I end with this challenge that God gave to the Israelites.
“Therefore say to them, Thus says the Lord of hosts: Return to me, says the Lord of hosts, and I will return to you” (Zechariah 1:3).

Are Genesis 1 and 2 contradictory accounts of creation?
It’s amazing how many Christians, including pastors and Christian college professors, think so!
No, they are complementary accounts with Genesis 1 as a summary in chronological order and Genesis 2 focusing in on the details of how God created the first man and woman. This then sets the stage for the fall of man in Genesis 3.
And this is confirmed in Matthew 19 where Jesus was asked about marriage.
“Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, ‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’?” (Matthew 19:4–5).
Jesus is referring back to the history in Genesis as the foundation for marriage (in fact, every single biblical doctrine of theology is ultimately founded in Genesis 1–11). Jesus is referring to the text of Genesis 1:27 where he made male and female and the text of Genesis 2:24, the creation of marriage, referring to one flesh as the woman was made from the man.
In other words, Jesus is referring to the same one man and one woman as recorded in Genesis 1:27 and Genesis 2:24. Jesus obviously quoted the text in Genesis 1 and 2 as complementary accounts—not different accounts.
Isn’t it amazing how so many Christians and Christian leaders will question just about every aspect of Genesis 1–11 but don’t do this with most of the rest of Scripture! The devil knows that Genesis 1–11 is the foundation for everything and so will do whatever he can to get the church to reject or question the history in Genesis 1–11.
This has been one of the greatest attacks on God’s Word in our time, and sadly, many Christians have succumbed to this attack.

The first man could not have evolved from some apelike creature as some claim.
We learn in Genesis 2:7, “Then the Lord God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature.”
1. Adam was made from directly from dust, not from a previously existing creature. And the “dust” can’t be symbolic of an animal because God said this man would return to “dust” when he dies (Genesis 3:19) because of sin. Humans don’t return to some creature like an ape-man when they die.
2. The first man did not become a “living creature” until God breathed into him. He could not have come from an already existing living creature.
The first woman could not have evolved from an ape-woman as Genesis makes it clear that God created this woman from the first man’s rib.
In Genesis 2:21–22, we read how God created the first woman.
“So the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and while he slept took one of his ribs and closed up its place with flesh. And the rib that the Lord God had taken from the man he made into a woman and brought her to the man.”
That’s why the first recorded words of the first man Adam were, “This at last is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.”
God through the Apostle Paul states, “For as woman was made from man” (1 Corinthians 11:12).
No, mankind did not evolve.

Public schools teach generations naturalistic (atheistic) evolution and millions of years as fact.
Sadly, many church leaders and Christian academics have also accepted such as fact and accommodated this into Genesis. Generations in our churches have been allowed to believe or even been taught evolution and millions of years are fact.
I’ve found many kids have the idea that they learn real history at public school when they’re taught evolution in science classes. To most of them, evolution is true history. They think millions of years is true history. Even many Christian schools sadly teach this. But at church or in Bible class, they have Bible stories.
Now, with the word “story” not really being understood as something true or real and because many have been told the Genesis “story” is not really true and must be interpreted as supporting evolution (which is supposedly true history), we now have generations who look on what the Bible relates as a whole is not necessarily true. What we read about events in Scripture is more equated with interesting tales somewhat like fairy tales.
So for many, the Bible is just a storybook, but they learn real history (evolution) at school.
No, Genesis is history. The Bible is not just a book of stories—it’s a book of history.

My prayer is that God’s people will wake up to understand the vital importance of standing on the authority of God’s Word beginning in Genesis and become bold about challenging people concerning the truth of what God has revealed in his Word and pointing them to the saving gospel and the need to build a truly Christian worldview.

What a weekend we at @AiG had recently at Redsfest 2026!
AiG had a blast hosting a booth at the Cincinnati Reds’ annual fan festival recently in the newly renovated Cincinnati Convention Center. After a two-year break during renovations, the event came back bigger than ever—with over 20,000 fans in attendance, making it the largest fan festival of its kind in Major League Baseball.
Our team loved meeting thousands of people and sharing more about the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum @CreationMuseum. We even had a few players stop by to say how much they love AiG and that they can’t wait to visit the Ark @ArkEncounter!

What happens when we tell kids it’s time for a “Bible story”?
If you google the meaning of the word “story,” a top hit is this, “An account of imaginary or real people and events told for entertainment.” The example they use is “an adventure story.”
The top synonym for “story” is “tale.” And the definition of “tale” is “a fictitious or true narrative or story, especially one that is imaginatively recounted.”
So, for many kids, when they hear “Bible story” they think of something made-up!
I suggest instead of saying we are going to read a story in the Bible, we should say something like, “We are going to read an account from the Bible.” And explain that “account” means it is real history, this really happened.
Christianity is based in real history. You could use terms like “record of” or “historical account” and so on.
In a way, because of the attack on the Bible as a book of history, we really need to almost overemphasize that the Bible is a book of history. When I am giving presentations to children, I tell them the Bible is the history book of the universe. I then get them to say it out loud, “The Bible is the history book of the universe.”
Yes, it’s God’s history book to us. It’s important for them to understand God’s Word is the only infallible history book we have. And because the history is true, that’s why the gospel message based in that history is true.

I am consistently in awe of the amazing talent the Lord brings to the @AiG ministry!
Because of the people he’s brought to us, we’re able to produce exhibits and attractions (the @ArkEncounter and @CreationMuseum) of the same quality as Disney or Hollywood—and even better because we present the truth!
And I know there are many other Christians who serve the Lord in creative fields, large and small, who would love to learn from our talented staff and others the Lord is using to proclaim his message in creative ways. And that’s why we’re hosting Spark at The Ark April 20-22, 2026.
This unique event will be held at the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter, featuring behind-the-scenes tours, inspirational speakers from our own staff and industry leaders, and fellowship and networking with other Christian creatives.
If you are a Christian working in a creative field, you won’t want to miss this one-of-a-kind event. Space is limited!
