Unfortunately, those who are survivors of Domestic Violence are now home with their abusers. For children who are survivors there are fewer opportunities for those in a position to help to see signs and report.

Love this reminder from Trauma Sensitive Teachers Network. Daily reminder that a kid (or adult) who misbehaves is discouraged, disempowered, or missing the skills to deal w/a challenge they were given. As school begins let’s remember that there’s always a reason for a behavior.
