The Native Studies teacher just sent me some of the year end reviews of her class. The grade 12 class has some incredible understandings of the balance necessary for the future. They also knew that reconciliation is non existent if the truth is not shared and acknowledged by ALL parties. The teachings of our place in creation and our responsibilities really reached them. They are the very near future of politics these kids. Within a few years, they will be the parents of tomorrow. And that is why I do what I do and I will always be proud when they respond with profound understandings like these ones have. Grateful to have had those times with them all. And to the instructor for giving me a guest place among the future generations. 🪶💕
