Pro of the day: 10 miles on the legs today! Average mile time was 9:08/mile. Con of the day: chugged half my bottle of water after my run & ended up bloated 😅

@ceasealeo23 The struggle is real! I work for a junior college coaching cross country & there’s so many kids who read the messages I send but don’t respond. Like rosters are filling UP. You gotta be responding.

I see this with college track coaches as well. We send a bunch of DMs, and they never respond. Then 3 weeks later they tweet out “Looking for athletes - we have scholarships available - shoot me a DM”. As a HS coach trying to get their kid to the next level, the grind is REAL
