City of Windhoek spokesperson Lydia Amutenya has assured residents that the city’s water remains safe for consumption despite the discovery of a body at the Gammams Water Care Works facility. Amutenya said the body of an unidentified man was discovered on Sunday inside one of the machines used in the water treatment process at the facility. According to the City of Windhoek, a security officer conducting a patrol at the site discovered the body and immediately alerted senior officials and relevant authorities.
