Being the only team not having a pride night is so much more of a political statement than having one would be. It’s a shame ownership can’t take one night of the year to acknowledge the LGBTQ+ portion of the fan base.

The Arizona Coyotes basically died because it’s impossible to get fans to drive 40+ minutes a night for a 41-game season the way fans will suck up driving for 8 NFL games.

I cannot believe that Dallas will not have any of the major sports teams that bare its name - the Dallas Cowboys, the Dallas Mavericks, now the Dallas Stars.
Also, suburban arenas have failed many times over. Curious how this works out for both the Stars and Mavs...

Difficult 28 hours for downtown Dallas, though the Mavs have picked a Dallas location for their next arena.
At roughly noon yesterday Mavs CEO Rick Welts informed City Manager Kim Tolbert in person that the Mavs had picked Valley View. Likewise late this afternoon Stars CEO Brad Alberts met with and informed Tolbert of the Plano deal.
