The post-conflict Indo-Pak environment reflects a new normal with some degree of strategic ambiguity, I tell the BBC on the first anniversary of the 88-hour conflict. That ambiguity tells you that every act of terrorism will be treated as an act of war. So #OpSindoor could resume if there's any more proven cross-border terrorism over a certain threshold.

Today, at a jam-packed book launch for @docanoopmisra ‘s new book (see below), I left w 6 takeaways: 1. Unless you have very high tri-glycerides, you should try one egg a day. 2. One food to give up or mostly give up : red meat. 3. Better to add a little sugar to one’s tea than switch to artificial sweetners-some impact the heart. 4. Refined, processed, maida style food is the body’s enemy. Shun! 5. No diet fits all. Every body needs tailor made diets. So going keto or intermittent might give you zero results. 6. Stop dissing rotis. They have a lot of fibre. Mix millets and besan w the atta. And enjoy.

Saddened by this news. Amb Stobdan was a scholar first and a diplomat later. He excelled in both roles. I visited him in Bishkek when he was posted as ambassador there. His assessments were thoughtful and grounded in his deep understanding of the region. Om Shanti!

Shocked to learn of the sudden passing of Ambassador P. Stobdan, whom I had met just a few days ago. A candid, forthright and erudite diplomat, he carried the wisdom of the world in his heart. May God give strength and fortitude to the bereaved family in this hour of grief.
