AJC has consistently and unequivocally condemned violent attacks targeting both Israelis and Palestinians that have plagued the West Bank for far too long. We are particularly alarmed by the recent sharp rise in attacks carried out by violent Israeli extremists targeting Palestinian civilians and their property. Ahead of Passover, we are reminded that the Jewish story is one of unwavering hope. From the Exodus from Egypt to ongoing conflicts in the Middle East, our aspiration remains the same: to live as a free and safe people in our homeland and in communities around the world. We will not let the rise of global antisemitism define who we are. This Pesach, we pray for the protection of Jews everywhere, for the safety of those still facing threats and violence, and for a future in which freedom, dignity, and security are realities for all. Read this moving prayer by AJC’s Director of Interreligious Affairs Rabbi Noam Marans: ajc.org/seder-prayer-5…

Antisemites like Hasan Piker and Nick Fuentes should be persona non grata in any political party. Speaking to @J_Insider, @AJCCEO Ted Deutch says that Republicans and Democrats alike "should make clear that voices that aren’t representative of their parties have no place in an official campaign setting.... Neither one of them belongs in the middle of the political process as a result of candidates choosing to put them there.” AJC is working with leaders across the aisle to ensure that extremist voices continue to be pushed to the fringes. jewishinsider.com/2026/03/ted-de…

We commend Kentucky @GovAndyBeshear for refusing to participate in a litmus test of invoking the "genocide" libel to criticize Israel. We urge other leaders to follow Governor Beshear’s lead and reject this harmful rhetoric. These accusations do not advance peace. They fan the flames of an already volatile situation and make Jews everywhere less safe.

Iranian-American writer @RoyaTheWriter knows the oppression of the Iranian regime better than most. We were honored to have her address this year’s AJC Ambassadors' Seder, warning against the dangers that await if the regime's apocalyptic ideology is not eliminated. As a Jew born in Tehran, she and her family were forced to flee from their home and seek asylum in the U.S. a few years after the Islamic Revolution. Since then, she’s sounded the alarm about the threat that the Ayatollahs pose to the United States, Israel, and the world.

“The No. 1 reason we have the antisemitism levels we do today in the United States and around the world is because of the digital space,” says AJC’s Director of Antisemitism Policy @HHuffnagleAJC. A new AJC report with @Cyberwell_org shared AJC’s State of Antisemitism in America 2025 Report data that 73% of American Jews encountered antisemitism online in the past year, and 21% said these experiences made them feel physically threatened. The report recommends 9 key actions for tech companies to combat antisemitism, including strengthening enforcement against terror, addressing coded hate and AI-driven content, and improving transparency and reporting systems. Digital platforms must enforce their rules and policymakers must demand accountability. Urgent action is needed before online hate fuels more real-world violence. jewishinsider.com/2026/03/americ…

“The issue isn’t whether Jews can live somewhere, it is whether they can live there openly, proudly, and without fear. And in too many places in the world right now, the answer is no.” – @AJCCEO Ted Deutch in @WSJ As antisemitism rises globally, the question of where Jews can truly feel safe is no longer theoretical. It is becoming an urgent reality shaping Jewish life around the world. According to AJC’s State of Antisemitism in America 2025 Report: - Nearly one-third of American Jews experienced an antisemitic incident in the past year - More than half have changed their behavior out of fear of antisemitism - 17% have considered leaving the U.S. due to antisemitism in the past five years Ensuring that Jews everywhere can live openly and without fear is not just a Jewish priority—it is a moral necessity. wsj.com/world/middle-e…

This week marks 900 days since the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7, 2023, when terrorists murdered, terrorized, and kidnapped citizens of 25 countries. As I reflect on that day, I continue to think about the families whose lives were shattered. Even with all the hostages now home, the trauma still reverberates across Israel and within Jewish communities around the world. Since the attack, @AJCGlobal has stood with the hostage families—amplifying their voices, advocating on the world stage, and holding more than 600 meetings with leaders around the globe to help bring their loved ones home. We must not look away. We cannot allow ourselves to grow numb. I remember the lives lost, the families torn apart, and the lasting pain caused by Hamas’ terror. We will continue to stand with Israel, confront antisemitism wherever it emerges, and ensure the horrors of October 7 are never forgotten.

Last night in Warsaw, at our Abraham Accords Diplomatic Seder, the ambassadors of the U.S., Israel, and the United Arab Emirates sat at one table together — not only as representatives of their nations, but as partners choosing dialogue over division at a moment when the world feels especially fragile. @UAEEmbassyWAR Mohamed Alharbi spoke powerfully about why strengthening ties with Israel and the United States matters now more than ever. U.S. Ambassador @TomRoseIndy and Israeli Ambassador @Yaakov_FINKLSTN echoed that same urgency and sense of hope. We were honoured to be joined by Presidential Minister @wkolarski, representatives of the Polish authorities, Ukrainian Ambassador @VasylBodnar, and diplomats from across Europe and beyond — a testament to the broad and growing belief in cooperation. Amid war, rising antisemitism, and daily hardship for so many, we are grateful to everyone who helped create this moment of unity, courage, and hope.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of life in Abu Dhabi, where debris from an intercepted Iranian missile killed two people and injured others. Our thoughts are with the victims' families and the people of the UAE. For decades, the regime has pursued policies that threaten U.S. interests, endanger Israel, and Arab states. We stand firmly with our partners in the face of these destabilizing actions. timesofisrael.com/liveblog_entry…

We commend the government of Ecuador for arresting an individual linked to Hezbollah—a stark reminder that this Iran-backed terrorist group remains a global threat. Hezbollah’s networks in illicit finance and organized crime endanger regional stability and the safety of Jewish communities across the Americas. Stronger security cooperation between the United States and partners like Ecuador and Israel is essential to disrupting these actors and building a safer region. cbsnews.com/news/alleged-h…

We were honored to co-host the First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska (@ZelenskaUA), yesterday at the Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum (@dhhrm_org). AJC supported the First Lady's initiative to include Ukrainian-language audio tours at this and other culturally significant institutions. In 1991, AJC became the first Jewish organization outside Ukraine to call on the U.S. to recognize the country’s independence and we stand with the Ukrainian people as Russia’s illegal war is now in its fifth year. We must—and will—continue to unequivocally support Ukraine and advocate for a just peace that respects its sovereignty and territorial integrity.

NEW REPORT: Today, we released The State of Antisemitism in America 2024–2025: Findings and Recommendations for Major Digital Platforms report, in partnership with @CyberWell_org. According to our findings, half of Jewish users who experienced antisemitism online do not report these incidents to social media companies because they do not think anything will be done. Over the last six months, AJC and CyberWell have partnered to craft recommendations to major technology companies, including urgent steps to address antisemitism on their platforms. I am deeply moved by the participation at @AJCGlobal’s annual Ambassadors' Seder in Washington.
Ambassadors and diplomats from over 75 countries joined us in a celebration of freedom and pluralism.
This past year, we witnessed Israeli hostages returning home, families refusing to give up hope, and Iranian civilians standing up for their basic freedoms.
The story of Passover is one we retell every year to reflect not only on the importance of freedom and liberation, but also on the kind of society we want to build - one where Jews live openly and proudly.

On this day in 1979, Israel and Egypt signed the historic peace treaty that opened an era of cooperation between the two nations. 🇮🇱 🇪🇬 We honor this anniversary and celebrate other Arab states that have joined, and will join, the circle of peace.
