We echo @RepMikeLawler's efforts to strengthen and expand the Abraham Accords, including by the appointment of a special envoy, ensuring sustained U.S. leadership in advancing regional cooperation and stability. Staffing this position is critical to coordinating U.S. strategy, deepening partnerships, and building on one of this Administration’s most significant diplomatic breakthroughs. We commend Rep. AJC was honored to be part of Israel Tech Week in Miami today for a great panel on the future of U.S. business engagement in the Middle East. Thanks to Danny Sebright, head of the @USUAEBizCouncil and Amb. Steve Bondy, Senior Advisor for the Bahrain Economic Development Board, for a fascinating discussion moderated by AJC Miami board member Pamela Berkowsky about regional challenges in the Middle East in the wake of the war with Iran, and the opportunities for strengthening ties with the United States and Israel.

We welcome the introduction of this bipartisan resolution led by @RepJoshG and @RepMikeLawler condemning antisemitic rhetoric from prominent online personalities, including Hasan Piker and Candace Owens. Hate—whether from the far-left or the far-right—must be called out and confronted. The resolution underscores the dangerous impact of disinformation and extremist rhetoric, and calls on both public leaders and social media platforms to take stronger action. When influential voices spread antisemitic conspiracies, justify violence, or dehumanize Jews, it fuels real-world threats and attacks. It's part of the reason that our State of Antisemitism in America 2025 Report found that 73 percent of American Jews experienced antisemitism online in the past year. We thank Reps. These are not isolated incidents — they are part of a disturbing rise in antisemitism. Two Orthodox Jewish men were seriously injured in a stabbing outside a London synagogue in what police have described as a terrorist incident. The attacker, armed with a knife, ran through a Jewish neighborhood attempting to harm others before being stopped. This was not an isolated incident. It comes amid a deeply troubling surge in antisemitic attacks across London in recent months, including arson, firebombings, vandalism, and threats against Jewish communities. This attack is a stark reminder: the UK must do more. In just the past day, IDF forces uncovered and dismantled a network of terrorist infrastructure in southern Lebanon, including weapons storage facilities, anti-tank positions, observation posts, underground routes, and explosive devices. At the same time, Hezbollah launched explosive UAVs toward IDF troops. Hezbollah’s actions reflect its ongoing effort to plan and carry out attacks against Israeli civilians and soldiers. Most troubling, it embeds these weapons in civilian areas. Israel has the right and obligation to defend its citizens.
