Belgium’s ban on Israeli settlement goods isn’t policy - it's an unjustified political sanction. A direct, one-sided measure against Israel - a democratic state - that undermines dialogue and replaces engagement with empty symbolism. It hurts, divides, and achieves nothing. timesofisrael.com/liveblog_entry…

The situation in the Middle East needs to change.   That's not going to happen with votes like we saw in the House last week, that effectively throw up our hands and move us no closer to lasting peace and security.   From my discussion at @AspenSecurity Forum last week.

"If I were murdered in the street today, some people in the West would celebrate it." At AJC Global Forum 2026, @HenMazzig spoke about the dangerous rise of online antisemitism. When hatred toward Jews and Israelis is rewarded with clicks, views, and visibility, it doesn't stay online. It fuels real-world violence and puts lives at risk. 🎥 @AJCGlobal

"The greatest danger is not necessarily that either side wants an unlimited war. It is that both believe they need to take one more step to dominate the escalatory cycle." In a new analysis for @TimesofIsrael, Anne Dreazen, VP of AJC’s Center for a New Middle East, examines how rapidly the conflict with the Iranian regime has evolved and why the risk of broader regional escalation is growing. blogs.timesofisrael.com/todays-newspap…

Congratulations to @AndyBurnham on becoming the United Kingdom's new Prime Minister. AJC looks forward to working with your government on matters of mutual concern, including combating antisemitism and strengthening 🇺🇸-🇬🇧-🇮🇱 ties. As your government begins its work, we urge it to respond decisively to the alarming rise in antisemitic incidents and violent attacks targeting Jews, maintain a firm stance against the Iranian regime and the IRGC, and champion the security and democratic values that unite our nations.

As we wrap up an incredible week in Poland with the National Black Empowerment Council, led by Executive Director Darius Jones, we're grateful for the opportunity to host this inspiring delegation and strengthen the longstanding bond between the Black and Jewish communities. Throughout the week, we explored the history, places, and personal stories of Jewish life in Poland, creating space for meaningful conversations about why preserving memory and confronting antisemitism remain as important as ever. One of the week's highlights was our conversation with Rwanda's Ambassador to Poland @Ashyaka, which demonstrated how honest dialogue can build resilience, foster empathy, strengthen partnerships, and inspire meaningful action. A special thank you to the Taube Center @tjhtpl for their outstanding partnership in helping make this experience so meaningful and impactful.

This is the unacceptable reality of what it's like to be a Jewish student on campus post-October 7, 2023. Jeremy's testimony before Australia's Royal Commission on Antisemitism and Social Cohesion is a powerful reminder that confronting antisemitism requires more than words. It requires meaningful action to ensure Jewish students can learn, gather, and express their identities without fear. Following the Bondi Beach attack in Sydney, AJC called on the Australian Government to establish a national Royal Commission to examine antisemitism—announced this past January—and to adopt and fully implement its 2025 Plan to Combat Antisemitism. Those recommendations include strengthening and enforcing hate crime and anti-discrimination laws, countering antisemitism on social media, and ensuring safe and inclusive learning environments.

14 years ago, the Iranian regime's terror proxy, Hezbollah, murdered five Israelis and one Bulgarian in Burgas. We solemnly remember the victims and call on the EU to once and for all designate Hezbollah as a terrorist organization in its entirety.

Ahmad Vahidi, the Iranian regime's terror chief, is the same guy wanted by Interpol for murdering 85 people in the bombing of Argentina's Jewish community center 32 years ago. For more than three decades, AJC has called for justice for the victims of the attack, carried out by Hezbollah with the support of the Iranian regime. From Latin America to Europe and across the Middle East, the Iranian regime and its terror proxies have murdered innocent civilians. We remember the victims of AMIA, honor their memory by continuing to seek justice, and reaffirm the urgent need for the international community to confront the Iranian regime's ongoing campaign of terror. ajc.org/news/what-you-…

During a panel at the @AspenSecurity Forum, @AJCCEO Ted Deutch weighed in on VP Vance's recent comments on Joe Rogan's podcast, emphasizing that the U.S.-Israel relationship must be understood as advancing American interests, not as a relationship defined by PM Netanyahu, President Trump, or any one leader. Suggesting otherwise, whether intentionally or not, furthers the harmful narrative that supporting Israel is contradictory to America's interests and plays into a nefarious secret agenda, when in fact, a strong U.S.-Israel partnership makes both countries more secure.

32 years ago, Hezbollah terrorists, backed by the Iranian regime, bombed the AMIA Jewish Community Center in Buenos Aires. 85 people were murdered. More than 300 were injured. As we remember the victims, we are reminded that the Iranian regime's threat to global security has only grown - from its unprecedented attacks on civilians across the Arab Gulf and Israel, to its quest for nuclear weapons, to its ongoing support and execution of terror attacks around the world. The Iranian regime must be held accountable. AJC stands with Argentina's Jewish community, as we have since 1994.

Any effort to educate about the Middle East should also include the story of the more than 850,000 Jews who were forced to flee or were expelled from countries across the Middle East and North Africa —a chapter of history that is too often omitted from the conversation. Public institutions have a responsibility to educate and present history accurately, not to promote one-sided narratives on issues as complex and consequential as the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. As @CIJAInfo has documented, this exhibit and its accompanying educational materials fail to meet that standard. We support CIJA’s call for accountability.

Why is a national, government-supported museum platforming an extremist who has been criticized by the Canadian government for antisemitism? In his address last month on Canada's antisemitism crisis, Prime Minister Carney said public institutions must uphold basic standards and ensure that no Canadian community is driven from those institutions by hatred. Yet @CMHR_News' controversial Nakba exhibit includes a resource guide referencing Francesca Albanese, who has been repeatedly condemned by governments, including Canada, for Jew hatred and who the Canadian government itself has refused to meet with in an official capacity. As the Heritage Minister has said, the exhibit is a failure of curation and the Board of Trustees must "do its job." "Iran is not simply choosing countries it dislikes. It is attacking the infrastructure of American regional power." In @TimesofIsrael, Anne Dreazen, VP of AJC’s Center for a New Middle East, explains why the Iranian regime's attacks across the Gulf are part of a broader strategy to weaken America's partnerships in the Middle East. She argues that the United States should respond by strengthening regional alliances, reinforcing collective defense, and making clear that standing with America makes partners more secure, not less. blogs.timesofisrael.com/iran-wants-ame…
