@ajdaniel I now see a lot of games very early doing mock reviews (Publishers send me a build like 2 years before release, I review it like it's finished, they see what's good and bad in my review to change before release), or advise on accessibility, representation etc.

I have no insider knowledge on this, just a gut instinct about timing, and Nintendo trying to walk the line on how they tweak an existing sucess.

I bet this is to prepare for the Switch 2. If the reports are true that it uses a new powerful magnetic system to connect the next-gen Joy-Cons, then these ones won’t be able to attach to it. I bet this has been released to let users charge Switch 1 Joy-Cons for Switch 2 use

Honestly, seeing this makes me happy. All over the world there is so much anger, violence & toxic behaviour between politicians. I prefer a world where we can disagree, but still treat each other with respect. 🤝

This looks so gorgeous! Can’t believe it was 8 years ago when I picked it up on release day, sunk a couple dozen hours into trying to reach the centre, got bored and gave up. I suspect it’s nowhere near the same game now
