Almost 90% of the 34 studies that met the eligibility criteria found some degree of hyperthermia during competition (core temperature > 38.5°C), with almost 20% of the studies finding ‘marked’ hyperthermia (> 39.5°C).

Data collection completed! Piloting the effect of cooling strategies on physiological strain in sawmill workers in Thailand. Has been a great experience implementing solutions for heat stress in the field.
