My friend was married into a family where one of the other brothers was married to a white woman. Did they not make her sweat from morning till night from cooking, cleaning to serving while the white woman would take long walks to enjoy the scenery, read books & do yoga. Lmao?!
Ifemelu@Sgqamza_

And one day when we’re prepared to be honest, we’ll talk about how these white women are given so much grace & how so much of the makoti process is diluted to suit them while black makoti’s are expected to be workhorses right off the bat.

Guys. A foreigner travels to African countries, engages in consensual sex with women, secretly records them, and then publishes the videos online. The sex was consensual. The recording and distribution were not. That is sexual exploitation. What’s troubling is that instead of focusing on the violation, many are laughing at the women. Now, before the familiar “why did they go there?” question comes up, let’s separate the issues. Adults make personal choices every day. Some wise, some risky. But no such personal decision cancels the right to privacy, and grants one permission to secretly record and expose someone. We can debate ethics, morality and safety. But those debates must not erase the principle of consent. Consent to sex is not consent to filming. Consent to filming is not consent to publication. If we blur that line, we normalise exploitation.

🇫🇷 The French government has launched a national plan to combat infertility, including sending an official letter to all 29-year-olds with information on fertility, reproduction, and preservation options. The policy comes as France’s fertility rate has dropped to around 1.56 children per woman, far below the 2.1 replacement level and the lowest in decades. Births are at post-war lows, with deaths now beginning to outnumber births. Follow: @europa

WOMEN’S BODIES NEED BREAKFAST, MEN DON’T ALWAYS. Intermittent fasting in the morning can actually create hormonal chaos for women. As a woman skipping breakfast shrinks your ovaries. Literally. It also: - Lowers progesterone - Disrupts thyroid function - Impairs fertility - Worsens PMS & mood swings And that’s just the beginning... Our blood sugar drops, cortisol spikes and metabolism slows down for the rest of the day. Hormones like estrogen, progesterone, thyroid hormones and cortisol are constantly interacting. They control everything from energy levels and mood to metabolism and reproductive health. When you skip breakfast, your body senses a lack of energy right when it needs fuel to start the day. That triggers stress responses and suddenly your system is holding onto energy instead of burning it efficiently. University of Waterloo research confirms that women who eat bigger breakfasts lose more weight, balance hormones better and feel dramatically different than women who skip or go light. Men, on the other hand, often tolerate late eating or longer fasting periods better because their hormonal systems are more stable and less cyclical. Women’s bodies are wired differently from men’s.

A married woman recently tested positive for HIV. After some tough conversations, she learned it was her husband's reckless cheating that brought the virus into their home. He hid his infidelity so well, she never suspected a thing. Now, tragically, both the husband, the wife, and their innocent daughter (under 2 years old) are all living with HIV. Men, please have mercy on your families. If you choose to cheat, at least protect them; use condoms consistently. Because of one man's actions, his wife and child are now suffering the consequences. Above all, love God. #HIVAwareness #ProtectYourFamily #BeResponsible

I just saw a TikTok that basically said women don't have maternity leave in America because companies like Nestle lobby against those laws cause their profits for baby formula would tank as mothers would be home to breastfeed their kids

We've spent 50 years trying to kill cancer cells. What if the answer was never to kill them but to remind them who they are? Cancer cells aren't foreign invaders. They're your own cells that lost their identity. They stopped differentiating, stopped maturing, and started growing without limits. Cancer doesn't create anything new. It hijacks normal biology. Researchers at KAIST in South Korea identified three master regulators, MYB, HDAC2, and FOXA2, keeping colon cancer cells locked in a malignant state. When they silenced all three? The cancer cells differentiated back into normal, healthy tissue. MYC and WNT pathways shut down. In mice, tumors shrank significantly. No chemo. No radiation. Just reprogramming. Here's what most people will miss: HDAC2 is a histone deacetylase. It compacts DNA and silences tumor suppressor genes. We already use HDAC inhibitors in our protocols. This isn't new to us. But it's powerful validation. Cancer and aging are the same problem. Cells that no longer serve the body but learned to hijack the immune system to survive. The answer isn't bigger bombs. It's restoration. Still preclinical. But the direction is exactly right. Kudos to the @kaistpr team. 👏

🚨: Cancer cells can now turn back to normal cells, thanks to South Korean scientists

DIOMAYE FAYE, President of Senegal: "I don't really want my photographs in your offices, because I'm not a God or an icon, but a servant of the nation. Hang pictures of your children instead and look at them every time you want to make a decision, and whenever the spirit of theft visits you, take a good look at your family's picture and ask yourself if they deserve to be the family of a thief who has destroyed the nation."

@iam_preethi Yup. People aren’t taking into account elderly fathers when it comes to kids born with genetic problems. Clinically a father 40 to 45 is medically “geriatric.” Since men rarely “settle down” in their thirties these days, problems occur. Usually the woman is still much younger.

"Women have a biological clock" Okay... but so do men. Paternal age affects - Sperm DNA fragmentation (increases after 40) - Time to conception (longer with older fathers) - Miscarriage risk (higher with older fathers) - Risk of autism, schizophrenia, and other conditions Sperm quality declines for men too, just more gradually than egg quality. In fact, this study showed that men over 45 were nearly ~5x more likely to take over a year to conceive compared to men under 25. If he's 40+, he needs to be optimizing too. Age matters for both partners. That's the reality.
