रोहित वेमुला के पिता OBC और उनकी माता SC समुदाय से हैं. स्कॉलर रोहित वेमुला की परवरिश उनकी माता ने की. वो अपने ननिहाल में बड़े हुए. उनकी पहचान माता की जाति से हुई. जातीय भेदभाव का घुट पीना पड़ा. मौका मिलते ही उन्हें हर पल एहसास दिलाया वो SC समुदाय से हैं. रोहित वेमुला ने अम्बेडकरवाद का रास्ता चुना. नीला झंडा फहराया और जय भीम का नारा बुलंद किया. तेलंगाना पुलिस ने तकनीकी आधार पर रोहित वेमुला को SC समुदाय से नही माना. कांग्रेसी राज्य में यह कितना निंदनीय फैसला है. बच्चपन से लेकर युवा होने तक समाज ने उसे SC होने का एहसास दिलाया. अब उसके मरने के बाद चंद BJP नेताओं और सवर्ण वाईस चांसलर को बचाने के लिए रोहित वेमुला को OBC घोषित किया जा रहा है. हम रोहित वेमुला को भूल नही सकते. उसने निडर होकर मनुवादियों का मुकाबला किया था. आज वो जीवित होता तो किसी बड़े संस्थान में ऊंचे ओहदे पर होता. रोहित के साथ पढ़ने वाला घनिष्ठ मित्र IIT मुंबई में प्रोफेसर है. इस मित्र ने आरोपी वाईस चांसलर के हाथों से डिग्री लेने से मना कर दिया था. BSP SP कांग्रेस गयी तेल लगाने. मेरी निष्ठा किसी पार्टी के प्रति नही, मेरे बहुजन समाज के प्रति है और इस मामले में मैं कट्टर हूँ.

SC, ST, OBC के ख़िलाफ़ कितना ज़हर है इन लोगों में? पब्लिक में, चैनल पर बैठकर इतना ज़हरीला बोल रही हैं। ड्राइंग रूम में या अपने रिश्तेदारों के साथ बातचीत में क्या नहीं बोलते होंगे ये लोग। इन सबको जबरन संविधान पढ़ाना चाहिए।

@thaiyaan Initially some part of Indian nationalism was an upper class/ castes phenomenon,reflecting their interests & aspirations. When they spoke in terms of national interest they certainly meant their own interests. This approach to nationalism was also reflected in Nehru's writings.
