I’ve made it to Mississippi, which is where I will be for the next couple days! My first stop is at an old favorite of mine from when I would come here a lot in 2020 and 2021 in the infancy of this page; Island View Casino Resort. I remember my 2022 visit, which is when I noticed the a lot of the Blackjack tables go from 3:2 to 6:5. If 6:5 Blackjack doesn’t bother you, or you are a carnival games or Roulette player, you really can’t beat the Beach View side of the property. If there’s a casino out there where outfacing windows are justified, it’s this one! Better yet, it’s non-smoking. The Island View side of the property across the street (connected via skybridge), although smokier, darker, and with no views is really what offers the best true gambling. Here you can find low limits 3:2 tables mixed in as well as the casino’s main Craps table. Pick your favorite side, I guess. Overall it’s a fantastic property and I would love to stay in the hotel here right on the water! Table limits at Island View include $5 MS, $10 6D 3:2 BJ (Island View side only), 6D 6:5 BJ, CR (I couldn’t tell what odds were offered), UTH, & TCP, and $15 Fortune PGP.
@JackieNieukirk@zheinold1014 It's a D1 college course that's 27 yrs old, had a full remodel and a team with the best coach and one of the strongest programs in the county. I think it's safe to say the course is plenty challenging.

I’m so impressed by how Christina Roki turned a DIY car project into a successful career. As an engineering major she taught herself how to fix cars and evolved it into a platform where she uses her passion and creativity to educate and inspire her 5 million followers. Even better - I love that she’s empowering women and showing there's space for everyone in the auto industry. @AlWayzrite9@ronrule So the buyer's agent's job is to negotiate the best price for a buyer while in turn reducing their pay in direct correlation to the money saved?
@ronrule Percentage commissions provide an incentive for the agent to get the seller the best price.
Same with restaurant service. It's commission sales. Encourages wait staff to upsell, though this benefits the employer, not the customer.
Percentages make no sense for real estate transactions.
It is not four times the amount of work for a listing agent to sell a $400k house than it is to sell a $100k house.
The whole process should be an app.
@ronrule Well, because there laws that regulate real estate. Is that app going to tell you about the mold in basement that’s $10k+ to remediate? Who are you going to blame? The app?
Inspired by the practice area at Augusta National Golf, our on-campus outdoor practice facility totals 24 acres of target fairways and greens, fairway and greenside bunkers, and putting greens.
