I am honoured to speak directly with Albertans about the road ahead for our province, the choices we face together, and how you will have the final say in shaping Alberta’s future within a strong and united Canada.

The appointment of justices to our Alberta courts should be non-partisan and reflect our province’s legal traditions and values. I am urging Prime Minister Mark Carney @MarkJCarney to give Alberta a formal and meaningful role in the judicial appointment process that would boost public confidence in the administration of justice, support national unity within Alberta, and ensure judicial decision-making reflects the expectations of Albertans. This morning I was hosted by National Bank @nationalbank for a business roundtable with industry leaders and investors in Montreal to discuss how we can create new partnerships to advance nation-building projects for energy, critical minerals, and more. I was also honoured to be the keynote speaker for today’s sold out event with the Chamber of Commerce Metropolitan Montreal @chambremontreal. There’s a clear consensus here in Quebec and across the entire country, it’s time to build together. So let’s knock down the barriers holding our country back and unleash an era of economic prosperity like we’ve never seen before.

Yesterday was a great day for Alberta and Canada. Bill C-69- the don’t build anything anywhere act -was defeated in the Supreme Court. @DonBraid sums up the feeling here in Alberta nicely!
