BREAKING | A Parliament Petition, sponsored by MP @sukhdhaliwal, calls "upon the Government of Canada to order a fresh inquiry into the Air India episode to determine whether any foreign intelligence was involved in the crime."
The RCMP shared earlier this year that their investigative efforts into the Air India bombing "remain active and ongoing."
In Soft Target, a book on the incident and written by prominent Canadian journalists from the Globe and Mail and the Toronto Star in 1989, it was found that Canadian intelligence officials, namely from CSIS, believed India may have had a role in the bombings.

BREAKING | According to the @guardian, Indian intelligence operatives shared that India's assassination program against diasporic Sikhs "became a focus" after the Farmers' Protest dealt Modi a "rare policy U-turn" & "embarrassment."
The assassinations stopped after Canada & America accused India of transnational repression targeting Sikhs.
"The suspicion in Delhi was that firebrand Sikh activists living abroad, particularly those in Canada, the US and the UK, were fuelling the farmers’ protests and stirring up international support through their strong global networks. It stoked fears that these activists could be a destabilising force and were capable of reviving Khalistani militancy in India," the Guardian reports.
