On March 8, AKA members organized an International Women's Day event in South Windsor, CT. It was a meaningful day of connection, inspiration, & celebration of the incredible contributions Kurdish American women make every day. #internationalwomensday #KurdishAmericans #Kurds

AKA members joined in a protest organized by the Iranian Kurdish community in front of the U.S. Congress, calling 4 democracy & federalism in Iran. AKA stands in solidarity with the Iranian Kurdish community in Washington, in their pursuit of a peaceful, civil & democratic Iran.

.@alanboblaneusa reflected on Barzani’s enduring legacy across Kurdistan and highlighted the Barzani Charity Foundation’s vital support for Syrian Kurds in the most dire situations, including the recent crisis in January following attacks by Syrian interim government forces.

On March 1, AKA President Alan Boblane (@alanboblaneusa) joined an event in Virginia marking the 47th anniversary of Kurdish leader Mulla Mustafa Barzani’s passing.
