कोई भी सरकार यदि कोई भी एप्प, जो व्यक्ति के फोन का लोकेशन, कीबोर्ड, कैमरा, माइक आदि एक्सेस कर सकता है, जबरन फोन में डालना चाहती है तो उसका विरोध होना चाहिए। यह सरकार द्वारा हर नागरिक को ट्रैक करने का एक माध्यम है। फोन चोरी होने से बचाने के एप्प वैकल्पिक होने चाहिए, सरकार ऐसा कर कैसे सकती है? ‘संचार साथी’ के नाम पर @DoT_India फोन के माध्यम से नागरिकों की प्राइवेसी भेदना चाहती है। यह अनुचित है। ऐसा एप्प जो आपका कैमरा, आप किससे बात करते हैं, क्या बात करते हैं, कौन से एप्प चलाते हैं, आप कहाँ जाते हैं, कितनी बार जाते हैं आदि आधिकारिक तौर पर सुनने-देखने लगे तो सरकार केवल आपके खोए फोन को ढूँढना नहीं चाहती, वह आप पर नियंत्रण करना चाहती है। सरकार पगला गई है।
