@philwinkle The thing I like about Structured Data on web pages is it keep data consistent and in one place: the one web page is easy for machines to read and humans, and both update together. I wonder if the right approach is to extend with AI bot friendly metadata for add to cart, etc.

@philwinkle No, have not tried 3rd party models inside Photoshop. I am no expert or designer, but I have been using more automation like SAM2 segmentation then feather the mask, then inpaint the result - all automated in ComfyUI workflows. But I am a programmer! So I enjoy the pain!

@akent99 have you used the Topaz models through the 3rd party models access in Photoshop yet? I don't understand how people do inpainting without the channel management features, feathering, advanced masking, etc.

people dunk on Adobe for $59/mo subscription that can literally produce Hollywood films and vfx and also gives you unlimited AI model usage, constantly ships stuff like this but the same nerds spend $20/mo on Topaz, Midjouney, Kling, Gemini Pro, Sora...

Project Light Touch from @Adobe enables you to modify the lighting in any image. You can move the lighting anywhere within a scene in 3D space, adjusting its color, position, depth, and brightness.

@BenMarks I use AI frequently when writing little scripts. "Take this JSON file and write it out as a CSV" or "using this new library I have never used before, how do I change the transparency of an object". Its not always right, but it gets me going in the right direction faster.

I've deleted Docker Desktop from my machine. Because there's something that is 100x better called OrbStack 🔮 It's a drop in replacement which runs faster and eliminates the "memory & cpu hog" features of Docker Desktop. Download it at orbstack.dev

@richbaik I want to understand LinkedIn more from a content creation standpoint, specifically for my podcast, but currently have too many other things going on.

Twitter just made me change my two-factor before logging in and then gave me a heads up they're removing my old periscopes I forgot about. Does anyone still use this place for fun?

Hey @ShipperHQ , maybe Amazon needs help shipping. Instead of using one small box that fits 8 boxes of tea they used a small and BIG box for 3 boxes of tea! Poor trees!!

We decided with @CrystalontheWeb that srcset is now pronounced "secret". @JohnMu I think you've been pronouncing it this way forever already right? *This is like gif. We're all saying it wrong.

@glenngabe I don't subscribe to "search engines want to steal traffic from businesses". But they want to provide great service to their users... and they need great web content to do that. I think open discussion helps everyone navigate through this new space. Keep up the great blog posts!

@akent99 Thanks Alan. I appreciate it. The next few weeks and months will provide much more data about how AI is truly impacting publishers. Like I said in my post, I'll be analyzing this heavily. I hope to report that sites are thriving... Time will tell. :)

Yes! This! While I don't subscribe to fear of all change, it is better to start thinking about such changes and what it means for your sites. Be educated on the challenges at least.

Last week's news was monumental for the Search industry, & for publishers across the web. Here's my latest -> The Google “Code Red” That Triggered Thousands of “Code Reds” at Publishers: Bard, Bing Chat, & The Potential Impact of AI in the Search Results gsqi.com/marketing-blog…

Oops! Wrong twitter account ;-). I explore computer animation as a hobby on another account. Trying 3D model animation in a web browser at the moment. I was exploring adding voices in the browser - ecommerce virtual assistant anyone?

FAQ: "Can I change the emotion or intonation? .... While you can’t ask our voices to read one sentence in a happy tone and the next one sad, you can use "quotation marks around important phrases" to create a livelier reading." I want EMOTIONS dammit! ;-) wellsaidlabs.com/pricing/
