When Fayemi was two terms governor under APC, it was a good party. When Fayemi became minister of solid minerals under Buhari, APC was the best. When Fayemi was appointed as the man to coordinate APC presidential primary in Lagos in 2015, APC was the best When Fayemi was calling it sort in APC including plotting with Obaseki to remove Oshiomole as APC chairman to terminate tinubu ambition, APC was the best. But now that APC is no longer laying eggs for Fayemi to eat, APC has lost direction. Greedy Yoruba odale lots.

Dr Fayemi, God has been very kind to you. You’re governor of Ekiti state. You lost your re-election and became Minister. You came back and became governor again. Please appreciate Him instead of all these rants. You chose all those you wanted to be senators. You chose everyone for all elective and appointive offices down to supervisory councillors in all the local government areas in Ekiti state and those who lost out in all despite their contribution to the party did not revolt against the party in the state. Some APC members became outcast in the state because they did not belong to your group and heaven did not fall. They all still supported the party. You can not be in government all the time. Tinubu was not in government from 2007 that Fashola succeeded him as governor of Lagos state till 2023 when he became president and all through that long period, he did not castigate the party even when he was sidelined under Buhari government where you were one of Buhari’s favourites from SW. Some qualified, loyal and dedicated members of the party have never gained anything from the party yet they never wish it bad. I am not also too comfortable with the imposition within the party but you did same when you were in power. How is it now wrong in your book? One thing I find amazing is how those who have benefited immensely from the party turn out to be those who wish it bad the moment they are out of the corridor of power. ©Sunday Wale Adeniran #SWA

I agree with this absolutely. The bearing of APC is to make Fayemi a Minister and the Vision of APC is to make Fayemi an Ambassador. APC failed woefully on both.

Peter Obi’s One Term I am in support of Peter Obi’s one-term commitment. And he means it. Political discourse in Nigeria could be very silly. Many people are attacking @PeterObi for saying he will do only one term. They think it is either untruthful or foolish. But they are wrong. First, you are only elected for a 4year single term. In a real democracy, there is no guarantee you would be reelected. So, you have just 4 years to deliver your electoral process. 4 yrs should be enough to deliver what you promised the nation. That is what they voted. Some say “oh you cannot change Nigeria in 4 yrs”. By the same breath, you cannot change Nigeria in 8 yrs. So you should remain beyond 8 yrs? Did OBJ change Nigeria in 8yrs? Did Buhari change Nigeria in 8yrs. Actually, Buhari further endangered Nigeria in 8 yrs. GEJ accomplished more in one term than Buhari in 8yrs. Again, some say “Peter is cheating Igbos who deserve 8yrs”. Well, in normal times, yes we need 8 yrs. But what did 8yrs buy for katsina and northwest? What exactly? Longevity is not the point. Intensity is. I am part of Igbo leadership. Our people want the presidency more for its psychological value. We are equal citizens. One terms achieves that. The rest is for Nigeria. Real development in the southeast rests on governors who can deliver transformation. That is why I will run for governor late in 2027. And if Obi’s plan to hand over to Kwankwanso works as sketched, Nigeria will be on tract to a sustained 8 or 16 yrs of economic growth and social stabilization. And we would achieve in a democracy what many Asian countries achieved in a dictatorship. Never forget that politics is the art of the possible, not the science of the possible. It is POssible.
