I hate to say this cause @akismet worked well for us for many years, but at this point it has totally failed us. We are seeing lots of sites getting destroyed despite Akismet. Luckily guided spam analysis using LLMs is weathering the storms just fine meta.discourse.org/t/discourse-ai…

@akismet I find your blocking of all incoming links, in comments, disgusting! Aren't these sites supposed to connect people? But your crap blocks all incoming links, even relevant ones, which makes the comments useless! Are we so afraid these days, we can't send each other relevant data?

Hey @automattic — the Akismet privacy policy page (akismet.com/privacy) has links in the body text that are styled *identical* to the surrounding text. They turn green only on hover. That's against W3C recommendations, it's no kind of accessible, and it's not OK. Please fix.
