@superswimteam7 The fact that Marvel wound down "Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes" on TV, replaced with the objectively inferior "Avengers Assemble" with its MCU-aligned roster, only to end up REINTRODUCING all of the dropped EMH characters as they joined the MCU... 🤬 galls me to this day.

@parkerslawyer On a related note, how is Spidey's ass SO flat??? It's like he was bitten by a radioactive pine board!

@JimG21049657 @JenLRossman I would also accept "We have Jeffrey Jones at home".
(C'mon, I defy anyone to tell the difference between Ferris Bueller's Ed Rooney and Real Genius' Jerry Hathaway.)

@JenLRossman Probably Atherton's meatiest 1980s role was as the mentor-turned-antagonist in Real Genius.

@JenLRossman Dickless!
Ray: Everything was fine with our system until the power grid was shut off by dickless here.
Peck: They caused an explosion!
Mayor: Is this true?
Venkman: Yes, it's true... this man has no dick.

@JenLRossman My best guess as to an explanation is that the film was produced by United Artists and distributed by MGM, and SG-1 is of course an MGM Worldwide Television production, so synergizers gotta be synergizin'. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@JenLRossman In the comments on that video (which is mine), someone noted that the background music is not a classical piece per se, but rather the masquerade ball music from the original score for "The Man In The Iron Mask". Super odd choice.

@the_spy_wonder They look pretty, why not? normalize sexualizing good, hot male characters as they do to women.

@_Richval Only Torch could invent the March 31 Fools Joke because he's just bad at calendars. #LuckyHesPretty

@havokdrider I love that Akihiro is so shirt-allergic he can't even get on the "Happy Together" train for one laundry day.

@FFmpeg It's true, libavcodec violated me three times last night. It was thri—I mean, terrible! It was terrible.

@the_spy_wonder To chain him up by his feet, without him being able to escape by just wiggling out of the boots? Pretty sure they did.

@mr26743 @jbillinson Not that exact way, though. Until VERY recently, it was used to describe unappetizing, mass-consumption FOOD, specifically. Even "goyslop" is a food term. More generalized use to describe just any sort of online content didn't appear until 2-3 years ago, give or take.
English

@ferdnyc @jbillinson Slop was used in that exact way long before ai was a mainstream thing. Goyslop is probably the most well known example

@DCOfficial is going hard on their "PRIME TIME" slogan for the upcoming Superboy Prime storylines. They should expect a strongly-worded letter from Malibu Comics' lawyer, a skateboarding cheetah in a Hawaiian shirt.
