On Jan 9, 2026, I was asked to join an India Tonight panel to discuss the impending Supreme Court decision on the Trump tariffs, about to be announced at 10 AM ET. As I was waiting in the Zoom Green Room, the producer texted me on WhatsApp to say the decision wasn't coming through after all. The anchors announced this breaking news live on the show. And author Jonah Blank and I were brought into the camera shot anyway to discuss a decision that had been postponed! These folks were fixing an aircraft engine in flight, yet they made it seem so seamless!
