@mert_xai @rseroter @googlecloud The use case here is an infra primitive for at scale code execution or computer use. These sandboxes are secure and you can boot one up in under 200ms. You are right we see most customers use agent engine, Gemini enterprise. This launch is an implementation detail.

@rseroter @googlecloud sounds great, but what would be the use-case here? and gemini enterprise (aka agentspace) should support cloud run based agents too. Otherwise the target people only will be people who already has a production ready UI & chatbot system. + Agent Engine has a lot of limitations!

This is a new Kubernetes primitive that's designed for agent code execution and computer use. Now you can use it with @googlecloud GKE. I personally love using Cloud Run for running agent, but Kubernetes is going to be a great choice for many people.

In his demo, @moficodes used a new project @googlecloud just announced today - Agent sandbox. Agent Sandbox is designed for agent code execution & computer use, delivering the performance and scale needed for the next generation of agentic AI workloads. cloud.google.com/blog/products/…

@Carnage4Life Disagree. Being liked is optional, respected is not. Many people optimize for likability when instead they can focus on absolute excellence. Once you build gravity just be a human and you will be liked.

Unpopular opinion - pioneer square is now great! Lots of wine and coffee bars, art galleries, boutiques and architecture. Still sketch in parts of course but that's par for course nowadays for big cities.

@stevesi I live downtown and this tweet conflates issues. PCC had awful selection, pricing and awareness. The location was pristine and safe but the business fumbled. Balancing govt uni party is important for issues like public schools. We need to be precise on where to focus.

Downtime is the default state in nature. With technology it has become an optional add on

The bitrate of entertainment with modern technology is too high. In nature the bitrate is lower - Long spells of inactivity with few moments of brilliance. I worry about the impedance mismatch and if technology should regress to a lower bit rate. Regressions can be a good thing.

Assets that were overvalued during the pandemic but needs to normalize IMHO: 1/ Social media clout - Some great folk popular on social media but plenty of chill folk not on social media 2/ Suburbs - Some great suburbs out there but plenty of good vibes in the city

If you were to buy a $1 Million home, you would have to • Put $200,000 down • Take on a mortgage of $5,600 • Pay another $1,000 in property taxes, insurance, and maintenance A grand total of $6,600 per month. Or you could just rent an identical house for $3,900.

@Sravan_R_ Ha ha nah… exercise too in moderation :p super interesting trend though. Tech culture went from wearing hoodies to ju jitsu, shoulder press and incline runs. I now have to sidestep grapplers in the stretching area

Ok peer pressured in to the buff tech person trend and after realizing some progress, I can safely say in the interest of public service it’s not the alcohol it’s the food. Cheers.

Everything in moderation of course but I found the I quit alcohol and lost X pounds a bit too extreme. You can quit bread and realize the same outcomes

@BradErzwh @rseroter Definitely a few Prometheus in there :) But overall a really diverse mix. A leading indicator is OSS data tools (Airbyte, Weaviate) have containers and Kubernetes as their self managed deployment option. (This is not true for legacy eg. postgres that leads with vm based installs)

I think we're doing this. Lots of folks have decided to run stateful workloads on Kubernetes (look at the chart in this post!), and we're trying to make it as safe, performant, and cost-effective as possible. cloud.google.com/blog/products/…
